My Seeed Idea

Idea Guidelines:
1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

Stackup information PCBs
Information about the stackup for a four-layer PCB.
I would be nice to have a stackup for every PCB thickness seeedstudio provides. This makes impedance based routing possible.120 votes -
Support KiCad
I would like to have instructions how to convert my KiCad project the way it can be assembled with your service.

Optoisolator
I wish that in the OPL parts, you can find a place also for an optoisolator like the PC817. This is a good component when we need to make a strong separation between different supplies. Especially for microcontroller!

wired/wireless Grove-controlled 220V outlets
A simple, wired outlet is something I find myself making all the time (left side of photo), but I'd rather buy something smaller/safer/nicer than keep making them :)
The [more expensive] wireless product can have the same functionality of a "normal" rf (or ir) controlled outlet, but the remote control would also have a grove socket. If it's necessary to have 2 buttons/pins in order to control such a device (like the a/b buttons in the photo), you can use both yellow and white lines (unorthodox for non-I2C grove modules, but I don't see any reason why not).

Max485
I wish to have in your OPL list the posibility to use the well common MAX485. When I develop boards with Modbus communication feature, I always need to use this components.

Go Metric!
Stop that "mix" of Imperial and Metric units. Some constraints in Fusion are in mils, some in mm. Stop "6/6 mils" ("0.1524/0.1524mm), "8/8 mils" (0.2032/0.2032mm), change to 0.1500/0.1500mm, 0.2000/0.2000mm, etc.

Please let the BNO055 go Grove!
The BNO055 is a neat orientation sensor which reduces the hassle of 3D orientation programming a lot. I would love to see this sensor (which has an I2C output) paired up with a Grove connector!

Add more layers and increase maximum dimensions in FPC service
The FPC service is really great! Adding the option of:
- 3+ layers
- Smaller copper weights (0.25 oz, etc)
- Increased max outline dimensions (beyond 10cm x 10cm)
- Stack-up information (for controlled impedance designs)
in the future would be very much appreciated!

6-layer boards, 35\my\ on inner layers, metal-filled vias, "0.1500".
Indeed 4 points...
1) 6-layer boards
On my WishList I have 6-layer boards.
2)
Another point is 35\my\ of coippeer on inner layers
3)
The option to have vias or holes in SMD pads metal-filled (as some PCB manufacturers offer). Or the simplified "poor-mans method" to add a third solder-mask which just adds "lids" over the holes on top or bottom side; controlled with an additional "Via Key" layer.A "SMD pad with a hole" is a pad defined as a through-hole with the top-layer shape the shape of "the same" SMD pad, a circular shape in other layers.
4)
