Idea Guidelines:
1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

  1. Accept school purchase orders.

My school only does School Purchase Orders. One vendor required that I hold the order on a Credit Card. Once the school paid the PO the credit card hold is lifted.

Good morning? I am an elementary school teacher in Korea. We have produced materials for exhibitions in educational research conferences, and arduino grove products are used. We would like to use arduino grove products to create good scientific teaching materials for educational purposes, not for commercial purposes. Thank you for making a good product. Can I use arduino grove products to make science teaching materials?

  6. International shipping cheaper

Hello friends am a teacher and want to buy "LinkIt 7688 Smart Duo" to teach my students, the problem is that sending to my country (Chile) is very expensive.
So I wanted to know if you have some method of cheaper international shipping.
Because in my country teachers earn little money
Other stores sent by regular mail and is slower but cheaper
    Thank you very much.

  7. USA Distributor or Cheaper Shipping

This is why I can't use your products; I have $27 of Grove modules and the cost to ship them is more than twice that. Your shipping charges are way too high; or you need a distributor in the USA or cheaper shipping method

  10. Make the DMX512 PCB board finish flush with the edge of the three pin socket

When trying to mount the DMX512 board I had to cut off 3mm of PCB to allow the socket to sit flush with the mounting hole.

Please finish the PCB flush and put a mount hole on the side instead. Note, I'd put it on the side of the high screw hole to stop socket twisting on insertion of lead. Photos attached

  11. Smaller stensels

My PCBs are all very small and I hand screen and place components. Any chance of getting a screen that is 10 mm or so bigger all around than the PCB.

No need to pay high shipping costs for a screen that I have to cut up to use.

  12. Add STM8S003F3 to component list

It is the lowest cost and most commonly used MCU.

Can be programmed using the high speed and cheap ST-Link.

  13. ... to correct the discount calculation.

To me the calculation of the discount that is displayed with each item of the flash deals looks weird. Normally the more you save, the higher the discount. You display high numbers where one does not save so much. Probably it is (displayed discount) = 100%-(actual discount).

  14. Wireless charging for Super Capacitor

A wireless charger that can charge a Super Capacitor [SC]. It would have an adjustable maximum voltage of 2.0 to 2.5 volts, and be able to dump large amounts of current [5A or more -- much more] into an extremely low impedance load [i.e. a current source with an upper voltage limit]. Also, it should be able to dump current into the SC at full bore all the way up to the maximum voltage. A typical SC has a maximum voltage of 2.7 volts, but should not be charged higher than around 2.2 to 2.5 volts [the higher…

  15. Please add the 5 GHz to your BeagleBone Green! Or launch the BeagleBone Orange with the 5 GHz only WLAN. Should be rather easy to do...

Without doing my homework I think that the 5 GHz WLAN could be done just by WLAN controller and crystal changes and even the board could be essentially the same.

  16. Improve and make predictable the latency between when tracking numbers are generated and when objects actually ship.

Hi Seeed, this is actually a pretty big problem for your customers. We're often working on very tight schedules, and while it is OK if production and shipping takes a long time, this time needs to be PREDICTABLE. For example, I ordered some fusion boards recently, and I have a prototype due on the 14th. I also am trying to write up a doctoral thesis, so planning my time is critical. I payed extra for FexEx shipping, and the product was initially predicted to arrive on the 2nd. Needless to say it has not arrived, and it is not predicted…

  17. Beaglebone Green Wireless+Ethernet

Industrial applications may require an ethernet and wifi connection at the same time. A beaglebone green wireless with ethernet port would be great. Does Seedstudio plan on such a device any time soon?

  20. sell thermoplastic extruders like the WEE KIT from FILABOT.COM for recycling prints from 3D Printers

with the proliferation of thermoplastics like water bottles and "prints" from 3D Printers, why not sell a kit that would allow individuals, schools, and companies that have lots of waste prints to make their own filament material like the KIT EXTRUDER from http://www.filabot.com ?
