Idea Guidelines:
1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

  1. Add a DTR Pin to the dual mode Bluetooth Device so that it can also flash the microcontroller over the air.

Currently the Bluetooth Modules with HM-13 are not providing the DTR Pin that is needed to reset the microcontroller while flashing a new firmware. It would be great if that functionality could be made available on one of the programmable Output Pins.

  2. Adding LiPo battery support to BeagleBone Green

I suggest adding support for LiPo batteries to the BeagleBone Green.

As far as I can see in this post (http://www.element14.com/community/community/designcenter/single-board-computers/next-gen_beaglebone//blog/2013/08/10/bbb--rechargeable-on-board-battery-system) is just a matter of adding a LiPo battery connector and a resistor

  4. Make the DMX512 PCB board finish flush with the edge of the three pin socket

When trying to mount the DMX512 board I had to cut off 3mm of PCB to allow the socket to sit flush with the mounting hole.

Please finish the PCB flush and put a mount hole on the side instead. Note, I'd put it on the side of the high screw hole to stop socket twisting on insertion of lead. Photos attached

  5. BLYNK is great app. It support Linkit One HW but I suggest seeed should provide them with board for dev.

BLYNK is great app. It support Linkit One HW but I suggest seeed should provide them with board and assistance for library and functionality development. Please see http://www.blynk.cc/ and (http://community.blynk.cc/t/linkit-one-support-wifi-gprs/1999/3).

  7. Seeeduino 1284P

    I would like a Seeeduino 1284P. I really like Seeed's configuration of
the mega better than arduino's, however I feel that the 1284p has
the right amount of I/O and storage with more RAM than the 2560.

  8. Single board computer with embedded 3g modem

I just saw the RePhone and the Linkit One, but these are powered by microcontrollers, why not develop a single board computer like the Beaglebone green or Raspberry Pi but with an embedded 3G modem and LiPo battery support

  9. look at www.dronekits.us with wood airframes reeeeeeal cool and CHEAP

These wooden airframe kits are a good flight platform for people wanting to tinker w/ APM:Copter, DRONECODE, TOWER, PIXHAWK, NAZE, etc. Then consider www.vernier.com and their coooool interfaces, probes and sensors for use with UAVS, UWVS, UUWVS ( OpemROV ), and UGVS.

  10. Impedance Calculation Utility

A calculation tool to let customers know the impedance of their PCB traces.

    Here is an example:
    http://www.hughescircuits.com/index.php/en/support/impedance-calculator

The customer would only need to enter their PCB trace width, because all the other parameters can be determined automatically from the PCB specifications that the customer has selected.

  11. HS code

you should post an option of "the number of harmonized system code or the number of tarif code" for international purchases.

  13. Make available source code for the Skeleton Bot

    • 4WD Hercules Mobile Robotic Platform. Would be very handy currently all wheels travel the same direction? Please upload the code you used to create the car in the video. I dont understand how to control the wheels.

  14. Grove Lib for Linkit assist 2502 SDK (which also works with Linkit one)

create a grove lib that hooks into the linkit assist 2502 sdk. This lib would work with linkit one as well which would enable more advanced development with the linkit one

  15. Fusion PCB Specification -- Provide separation dimensions between layers.

For computing strip-line impedance it is important to know the distance between conducting layers and the dielectric constant of the insulator material. If averages are provided please also provide variance

  17. Fix the translation for the new Mini Soldering Iron

Great product, but the translation needs some work. Here is my suggestion:

Our Mini Soldering Iron, is a small, lightweight, quick heating soldering pencil that is great for many soldering application. The stable temperature is controlled accurately by the embedded STM32 controller and is easily adjusted from 100 to 400 degrees Celsius. You will benefit from dual temperatures, accelerated sensors, included sleep mode, and automatic over-heating warning. Soldering iron tips can be replaced with 4 different types and the embedded software can be reprogramed.

    Features:
Portable and lightweight for convenient soldering
    Easy temperature control
Sleep mode for safety and extend…

  18. On the SARK-110 I would like to be able to offset the vertical axis and display the j reactive component rather than the Z impedance.

I have the SARK-110 and need to display the j component with vertical axis zero in the middle of the display. Thank you

  19. Bicycle tracking and theft protection

We need a GPS device with GPRS and battery with motion charging small enough to fit inside a bicycle seat post. Or maybe fit underneath bicycle seat. When in motion it must charge the battery and transmit GPS coordinates every 30 sec via GPRS(sim card installed)

  20. How to pick size of panelized PCBs (total area or area of 1)?

More specifics about how to order multiple different designs together (how to panelize, how to choose size--do you use the size of the individual board or the size that they will all occupy after being panelized?
