Idea Guidelines:
1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

Open Parts List should contain components with wide temperature range if possible.
Open Parts List should contain components with wide temperature range if possible.
Minus 30 degrees Celsius is needed some times and if not too much more expensive it can be a good idea to select the wide range.4 votes -
stop overcharging for shipping Fusion PCBs
Please charge customers for the correct shipping weight instead of the maximum for PCBs of any given size. Most companies do this.
For an example, Arduino (shield)-sized boards are only one third the size of the 10cm x 10cm board category that must be used to buy them, but they are only ONE THIRD of the size and weight. We have to pay (express) shipping for TRIPLE the weight of the actual order and this can be substantially more expensive.
Please use the actual board size to compute the proper weight. Many other lower-cost PCB prototyping services do this, and as the first/best one, Seeed ought to be able to do this too.

Bicycle tracking and theft protection
We need a GPS device with GPRS and battery with motion charging small enough to fit inside a bicycle seat post. Or maybe fit underneath bicycle seat. When in motion it must charge the battery and transmit GPS coordinates every 30 sec via GPRS(sim card installed)

Hi,
You guys should take a look at the Fusion PCB checkout success page. It looks like you might have left some debug print strings that display the SQL for pulling the order data back. If this is on other pages it could pose a security risk. See attached file for example.2 votes -
Arduino Dial Up Modem shield
Dial Up modem's days are long gone but Land line still exists either in the form of home pbx or PSTN, An Arduino based Dial Up modem shield can be used for a lot of fun projects.
Modem chips are already available with AT Command support
Currently there is no shield to interface arduino with phone line
This shield can also become a base for Arduino corded telephony with additional sheilds for setting up arduino based Home PABX e.g 4 port intercom shield or Voip shield12 votesThat’s a gooood idea, we’re going to start it from forum.

don't ask for password as guest
I'm trying to check out as a guest, but the form won't let me continue without entering account details (password) to create an account.
If that's compulsory, don't offer guest checkout, as that clearly doesn't exist now.7 votes -

Can you make a clone of openBCI for closer-to-BOM-cost?
This board is basically an arduino with a few highly integrated ICs added on... it is OSHW so I wonder if you would be interested in stocking these as a product?

In order for the netduino to stay alive perhaps build a watchdog shield.
In order for the netduino to stay alive perhaps build a watchdog shield that receives a pulse from netduino via output pin and if the pulse is not received for say 5 minutes the watchdog will awake and send the netduino a pulse that are connected to the reset pin that will reset the device.

LinkIt ONE updates
LinkIt update requests:
-Antennas for the LinkIt to be on the board (at least the GPS). The GPS is heavy.
-Make it so that the SD card can be accessed at the same time the serial to computer is running.
-Have an external power pins for powering the unit and charging the battery.
-Move the microSD card away from the USB connection.10 votesWe’ll take all those suggestion into consideration while updating the new version. Thanks for your share.
