My Seeed Idea

Idea Guidelines:
1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

Shipping information
It would be very useful to have some information of what is happening in the manufacturing process between "confirmed" and "shipped", as it is often many weeks without any updates or estimated shipping date.

Product Life Cycle Management
Please be clear (at the Bazaar) about the difference between "Out of stock" and "obsolete - not sold anymore" because I continue to experience reliability problems with Grove displays. I understand the LCD/OLED components are very sensitive but I have had to replace all my Grove displays sooner rather than later. You have been very kind to support some of these under warranty but for others, given the nominal cost, I went ahead and purchased replacements locally when the salesman told me that once the shop floor inventory is exhausted it will not be replenished since the model is obsolete.…

Raspberry PI USB touchscreen display
I have a Raspberry Pi application which provides a touch-screen
interface to do home automation.I want a small USB display that can be mounted flush to the wall in a
2-gang switch box with a good looking cover plate.I see the "2.8 Inch USB TFT Display Module For Raspberry Pi" by RoboPeak, but the USB connector is on the side.
It would be great if the USB connector faced backward into the switch box and it had a mounting bracket and cover plate for a 2-gang box.

Beaglebone Green Wireless+Ethernet
Industrial applications may require an ethernet and wifi connection at the same time. A beaglebone green wireless with ethernet port would be great. Does Seedstudio plan on such a device any time soon?

would keep discounted EU postage
It really isn't fair for customers who order 10 boards to receive a discount, where customers who order more do not. This discount is more fairly distributed among all customers if it comes in the form of cheaper postage costs.

Mount the actual Grove Connector on the side of the board opposite proximity-critical sensors
On some boards, like the Grove Sunlight Sensor, it is critical that the sensor be as near the sunlight as possible. Currently, the sensor is mounted so it makes the light travel further than necessary. This is non-optimal placement to get light to sensor. Plus, it’s hard to manage the mounting and wiring against an enclosure. Instead, put the Grove Connector on the other side of the board so the sensor is as near as possible to the enclosure aperture. It will also make wiring simpler. .
