Beagle Bone Green Wireless Without the Dual Stacked USB Connectors
The Beagle Bone Green Wireless is a great idea for several reasons. One thing I was looking for was to get ride of the bulky Ethernet connector. This is an embedded board that is already big, because of the .1" headers, it is humongous in height because of the Ethernet connector.
And so when the wireless version came out I was ex-tactic for a second until I realised you added 2 dual stacked USB connectors?!?!
Please leave the choice to the user to decide whether or not they need that much real estate wasted.
People who have enough space for these dual stacked USB connectors will have the space to use a USB hub.
Meanwhile, trying to fit this board in a tight application remains an issue and is now very difficult because of those connectors.
The Beagle Black wireless version on the other side does not include these big USB connectors. Regrettably I will have to use the Beagle Black version rather than yours. A shame because your version has been less expensive and I had been happy with the Beagle Bone Green(s) I got from you.
Hope you redesign the wireless version keeping in mind this is a great opportunity for people to reduce and embedded a BBG into a small product they can sell.
If I can sell my product because your board allows me to package a neat device, think of the board volume I will be buying from you.

JS
