ADHD SON IS LOOKING FOR HIGH SCHOOL POST
Do you have a son (or daughter) who has ADHD and is now looking for a suitable high school to meet your child's needs?
Our son has been working in the private sector since kindergarten - attending a well-established and surprisingly supportive preschool and prep school. He thrived while at school-became a well-educated, academically healthy and lovely boy (I'm his mother, so I'm a bit biased!) However, we are now in prep 4 (9 years) and face the overwhelming (and almost impossible) challenge of finding his next school.
We were informed (informally) that quite a few private secondary schools in London are reluctant to accept children with ADHD, which led me to expand my search to the South - West of England, including boarding schools (single or co-educational).
I recently visited a boarding school in SE, as their website was very much about ADHD, but the reality couldn't be further from the truth when we talked to staff and students. It seems that school marketing material doesn't necessarily reflect its true offering to children with ADHD.
If you have any experience/ knowledge (good or bad) in finding a suitable private high school for your son/ daughter with ADHD-I would be very grateful if you would share them with me, as I am increasingly concerned that we will not find a suitable school for my son.

I have a friend and her daughter suffers from AHDH and she has already changed 3 schools. Her daughter is such a beautiful girl and it's so bad she has this disorder. When they went to the doctor they were prescribed to drink pills and they searched for a long time in pharmacies these pills but it turned out that they are sold only online. So i wanted to help them and searched on internet and found a website http://mypillsontime.com/index.php?act=viewProd&productId=14. As far as i know it is also used to treat narcolepsy and it is a combination of amphetamine stimulants. It really worked because her daughter is so sweet now.
When my sister was 6 she had some problem with her attention and behavior. So after some time she was diagnosed with AHDH. So she didn't go to school till she had 8.
