1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

  1. Product Life Cycle Management

Please be clear (at the Bazaar) about the difference between "Out of stock" and "obsolete - not sold anymore" because I continue to experience reliability problems with Grove displays. I understand the LCD/OLED components are very sensitive but I have had to replace all my Grove displays sooner rather than later. You have been very kind to support some of these under warranty but for others, given the nominal cost, I went ahead and purchased replacements locally when the salesman told me that once the shop floor inventory is exhausted it will not be replenished since the model is obsolete.…

  3. not notify the customer that PCB has been shipped unless it has actually been handed over to the courier such as Fedex.

I got email from you saying my PCB has been shipped in Nov. 2. But Fedex record shows it only received it on Nov. 8, and they delivered it to me the next day, Nov 9. So there is unexplained delay of almost a week. Better to notify me the day you actually handed the PCB over to Fedex as ship date.

  4. Have you considered making a Grove Interface board for the Micromite computers? These are made in Australia and being cloned in US & UK

There is a new version of the Micromite called the Explore 100 as well as a new one called the Micromite Plus LCD Backpack both of which would be amendable to a Grove interface. The Explore 100 has two MikroElectronika Interfaces which is not enough and they are too expensive compared to Grove. A grove interface would be fantastic.

  6. Beagle Bone Green Wireless Without the Dual Stacked USB Connectors

The Beagle Bone Green Wireless is a great idea for several reasons. One thing I was looking for was to get ride of the bulky Ethernet connector. This is an embedded board that is already big, because of the .1" headers, it is humongous in height because of the Ethernet connector.
And so when the wireless version came out I was ex-tactic for a second until I realised you added 2 dual stacked USB connectors?!?!
Please leave the choice to the user to decide whether or not they need that much real estate wasted.

  7. Your articles don't make english

The English in some of your articles doesn't make sense (e.g. http://seeed.cc/Are-these-issues-often-overlooked-in-the-development-of-hardware%3F-t-6200.html). Perhaps ask any native English speaker to make it readable.

  9. Mobile site displays incorrectly

On my moto G3, the mobile site displays incorrectly. There is a big white box over the majority of the text, and the font is too small for this screen.

I sometimes wonder why bother making a mobile site when it's just rubbish?

  10. Special programming board for ESP-xx modules

All current ESP8266-based boards lack an important feature: the ability to remove the ESP (ESP-01 to ESP-12) module from the programmer board after programming the module.
A board with specific solderless socket for ESP modules would be very useful.

But please don't forget to make the board not larger than 23mm or it will not fit into breadboards, like many "fake" boards available now.

  11. ESP8266 + SDcard + Arduino bootloader = 10$ arduino-compatible standalone datalogger

The ESP8266 can be re-flashed to allow uploading Arduino skecthes.
It also has native support for SD card.
So, a single board which includes ESP8266, an SDcard reader and battery connector would be a cool, wifi and cheap standalone datalogger (no need for external MCU).
ESP3212, just arrived to the market, even supports Bluetooth!

  14. Bring Back the Fusion Gallery

The fusion gallery and therefore the ability to freely share designs with the community (all of whom would order from you) was a really great idea, and it is a shame you have stopped it with your new website. It was one of the main reasons I chose you over your competitors, and I think it is losing you potential customers.

  16. Shipping information

It would be very useful to have some information of what is happening in the manufacturing process between "confirmed" and "shipped", as it is often many weeks without any updates or estimated shipping date.

  17. Accept school purchase orders.

My school only does School Purchase Orders. One vendor required that I hold the order on a Credit Card. Once the school paid the PO the credit card hold is lifted.

  18. Fix the shipping information page.

The language of the shipping information page is unclear. Is shipping free or only free if over $200? Does free shipping apply to Fusion PCB service? If not, what are the costs?

  19. Raspberry Pi Case for WD Pi-Drive (or other 2.5" drive)

A choice of several cases is needed that can accommodate a RPi B/B+ board with a WD Pi-Drive (or similar 2.5" drives) that is compact and similar to most of the other cases that are available for the plain RPi boards. The modernistically-designed WD case just doesn't cut it. It is flimsy, difficult to access remaining USB connectors, and falls over too easily. The other WD case just sits on top of an existing case... again, not very convenient. A plain, simple enclosure is needed that allows for the RPi and Pi-Drive to be together in one case.
