Get rid of Fusion PCB service
My experience with your fusion service has been appaling to say the least. I have ordered PCB fabrication and assembly from all over the world. Here in USA, where I am located, I get constant updates and can communicate with the PCB vendor. Just for your information, I have ordered from, Ireland, Romania , Canada to name a few. All of these places provide some communication on the process.
In Seeds case, not only was I unable to communicate with the PCB fab, but they issues a "shipped" notice and refused to answer my repeated emails on why I could not track this. I found that for the simple reason: The fusion service obtained a shipping number and indicated that they had shipped. Here is the time line:
I place order on March 25th.
I received a "shipped" notice on April 21st < One full month after order placed!!!
I could not track this package at all.
Then today April 30th , I try to track, and the SingaporePost indicates they received the package on April 29th.
This is non-communication of status of PCB fab and assembly is pathetic and ridiculous.
Please STOP this service!!!

Your bad experience does not warrant your suggestion to get rid of the service. I have had about a dozen jobs done by Seeed Fusion and usually I have the PCBs in hand two to three weeks after submitting the job. The ease of ordering and the quality of the finished product is superb. It is true that the progress updates and tracking information leave a lot to be desired. If this is a show-stopper for you, go somewhere else, don't mess things up for those of us that plan ahead and want the great price and quality of this service.

Seeed service does seem very poor at present. My PCB's have been in production for 5 times longer than they quote. I recommend users considerother suppliers until Seeed get their house in order.
