Idea Guidelines:
1 – Idea needs to be something we can do. This means, although we appreciate general feedback (for example, “this is good!” or “this hurts!”), here we are looking for ideas we can work on.
2 – Specific. The more details you can provide, the better. Heck—you can attach files to ideas or a reference link to show us what you want!

  2. Please include a .pdf version of the Eagle Schematic files

Please include a .pdf version of the Eagle Schematic files for people who don't own Eagle Licences, it would be very helpful. Thanks!

In particular I'm looking for the schematic for seeed arch gprs v2

  5. support question

    Hello Support Team,

I got a tick tock shield for my daughter, but now I realize we are missing some parts (see below), I would like to add them from german retailers, can you provide me with the specifications?

  6. Order list page should be re-organized

if you have more than 3 orders it's really hard to quickly find out which one you are looking for, probably a grid view would be more convenient.

  7. stop overcharging for shipping Fusion PCBs

Please charge customers for the correct shipping weight instead of the maximum for PCBs of any given size. Most companies do this.

For an example, Arduino (shield)-sized boards are only one third the size of the 10cm x 10cm board category that must be used to buy them, but they are only ONE THIRD of the size and weight. We have to pay (express) shipping for TRIPLE the weight of the actual order and this can be substantially more expensive.

Please use the actual board size to compute the proper weight. Many other lower-cost PCB prototyping services do this, and…

  8. Provide a constantly updated list of parts that can be assembled into PCBs

I would rather design a PCB knowing which parts you will support and incorporate those parts into my design instead of finding out the parts you support after I design a PCB and submit my Gerbers.

  9. EV3/NXT cable

It would be fairly easy to connect grove sensors to an EV3 - you would just have to make a custom cable (pretty simple) and add some drivers (I can help there if you want)

  10. LinkIt ONE updates

    LinkIt update requests:
-Antennas for the LinkIt to be on the board (at least the GPS). The GPS is heavy.
-Make it so that the SD card can be accessed at the same time the serial to computer is running.
-Have an external power pins for powering the unit and charging the battery.
-Move the microSD card away from the USB connection.

  11. my suggestion is for us to parter to create an electronic device to sign in and sign out with biometric

in my country nigeria, most workers get to their placer of work and go through a manual process of signing in,the time they resumed work,my idea is to see how this process can be atomated with a simple electronic device that would have a biometric system in it.where you use your thumb print to sign in.please get back to me so that i can explain better.there is a large market in nigeria for this busines.

  15. Create waterproof Grove connectors

If Grove (4 pin) connectors could be waterproof, that would make it easier to use outdoors/in harsh environments.

Wouldn't have to be IP67 or IP68 compliant, just something a bit more robust that what exists.

You'd need bulkhead connectors as well, so you could put a controller/batteries in a waterproof box, and the sensors someplace else.

    Under Consideration  ·  USB responded

    Hi Andrew:
Thanks for your advice, we believe that waterproof function is important in harsh environments for groves. But since the sensor itself needs to be waterproof, we believe that an enclosure for the whole grove module may be better.
Please let us know your opinion.

  16. Web site fix/improvements

The new user registration page is clearing the Address's State if there is an error. In my case it was the nickname. Then you get an error for that. It also forgets that you entered a captcha. You should only have to do that successfully once as you have proved you are human. There is also no indication that a Nickname needs to be unique. I would rename that Username, which is thus implied. It is also useful to use AJAX to immediately let the user know that a Username is taken, rather than waiting them to press Submit and…

  19. create a vacuum / pressure sensor from 30" Hg to 3 atm.

A vacuum and pressure sensor that is Arduino compatible that can measure from 30" mercury vacuum to approximately 3 atmospheres pressure. It'd be great for those of us using Arduino as engine ECUs to be able to have fine-grained control of engine parameters by knowing intake vacuum or pressure. Knowing the intake cross-sectional volume, the intake vacuum or pressure (in the case of blown engines) could also be used as an intake air flow sensor, which will really be beneficial to those of us using heated water injection to create extra cylinder pressure via steam expansion (to measure if we're…

    Hi DB:
We think this is a very professional area for the industrial control, would you please give us more advise about the popular sensors in this area, so we can make our products more convenient for you to use.
